赶尸人南毛、北马看管着一队僵尸，尸队中的一男一女，生前本是一对情侣，但惨被毒害而死，官府还在追查凶手，而害死他们的元凶害怕自己的罪行败露，高价礼聘黑巫师哈拉卓来将二人毁尸灭迹。哈拉卓为了便于下手，暗中向南毛、北马挑拨离间，两人上当内讧，拼斗在即。唯有南毛的徒儿雷震子及北马的干女儿天姬两人，因遇上了官府派来调查的密探金田一，才知道危险将至。可是南毛、北马听不进别人的劝阻，誓要决一死战，结果两败俱伤，双双阵亡。天姬眼见义母身亡，只好放弃心目中的爱人雷震子，黯然离去。雷震子亦撇下一众僵尸而去。黑巫奸计得逞，终于得到了下手的机会，逐出手毁尸，不料南毛、北马将计就计，并诈死扮成僵尸，目的是引黑巫现身，一场人尸斗法，即将展开。可是道高一尺，魔高一丈，黑巫早在雷震子及天姬身上落蛊，两人成为黑巫的仆人战将，与南毛、北马为敌，南毛、北马顿时处于下风。此时，智力超人的金田一及时出现，他能否协助南毛、北马捉拿黑巫，并救回雷震子和天姬这对情侣呢？
